I recently had the opportunity to create a promotional flyer for EGO Pro Chicago and their series of live events taking place at Windy City Thunderbolts games this season. The illustration is inspired by Strange Sports Stories #13 from DC Comics—an homage to one of the more offbeat, imaginative titles in comic history.
Blending the worlds of professional wrestling and baseball, this piece was a fun challenge that allowed me to merge retro comic book aesthetics with the high-energy spirit of indie wrestling. Keep an eye out for these events—it’s going to be a wild summer!
