So much going on the first two weekends of November.
First off is the closing reception for Arte, Alma Y Alum at Calumet College of St. Joseph in the Bernard Gallery (Friday Nov. 6, 2026 5-8pm)
Second,Sunday Nov. 8, 2026 1-8pm I will be at Luchascope at Chicago Art Department. This is a very special event celebrating the release of Luchadores vs. Everything (paperback edition). I’ll be joining Viviana García Besne as we will signing the book and honoring Lucha Libre.
Third Nov. 13-15, 2026 I’ll be a Guest Artist at Grand Rapids Comic Con. I’m excited to be making my return to this show and will have some new stuff that hasn’t be available at this con last year.
I’m honored and excited to be part of all three of these events. Going back to my former college and displaying artwork to honor Hispanic culture especially in own way and expression means a lot. Then to be at an event days later to honor Lucha Libre with Viviana in a book that means the world to me is crazy. Words really can’t express how honored I am. I’m very proud of my Hispanic culture and Lucha has been a huge part of my upbringing and my family the movies the events. I mean….come on. Lol Then a week later being a guest at one of the biggest comic conventions in Michigan all happening back to back. It really is humbling. Thank you to everyone who is putting these events on and including me. I’m very grateful.
